MY SEGAMAT GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - WARUNG PAK KASSIM SEKELUARGA


18th AUGUST 2022 ~ The initial plan was to go to Gunung Ledang via the entrance at the resort there but unfortunately, the access was closed to public. Therefore, we had to make a U-turn trip back to Segamat. My partner in crime and I decided to stop by for lunch at this one stall by the road side with many artificial and colourful mushrooms placed outside.


There were many cars and lorries parked on the road shoulder which could be an indicator this place was popular.






If you want to eat lunch with a variety of dishes to choose to be eaten with your rice, this should be the place. The specialty would be its freshwater fish: Ikan Baung but it could be a bit expensive.








And you could also buy a few ferrocement products made by the owner of the stall, Pak Kassim, to bring back home.

The stall can easily be spotted along the way from Segamat to Tangkak by the brightly coloured mushrooms that would attract the drivers and passengers on the road. There would be no way for you to miss this place unless you are sleeping.
