MEETING AN EX-STUDENT IN KUALA LUMPUR FOR THE FIRST TIME

   29th DECEMBER 2024    ~ An ex-student [of SMK Taman Universiti], Mr. Haiqal Johari, contacted me after seeing my check-in on Facebook when I was in Kuala Lumpur. We had actually planned a meeting in the metropolitan city but he was busy all the time.

After the lunch session with my TESL friends in Klang, my took a train and Mr. Haiqal picked me up at one station. We then went to this place called The Stories of Taman Tunku, which was located in Bukit Tunku.

My first impression of the place: the venue where rich people go to. Most people I saw there looked fashionable and wealthy.

We finally sat at the restaurant called Mokkys Pizza despite the fact I already had had a heavy lunch before this. It was not nice to reject a meal especially when someone was about to give you a treat.

The dining area was actually quite small and the tables were placed very close to others. Definitely not the place if you are looking for a private conversation, so you just go there to eat and chat with the possibility being eavesdropped.

Once pizza session was done, we met up with Mr. Haiqal's girlfriend and drove to get dessert.
