20th DECEMBER 2024 ~ I had a friend, an ex-colleague of SMK Dato' Jaafar to be exact, who was willing to come and fetch me at the hotel and later to play tourist guide of the day. She was transferred back to her hometown 2 years ago and I was kind of excited to get to see Miss Siti Khadijah Ibrahim.
The plan was to venture out of Kedah that morning but we first stopped for breakfast at Kopi 'O' Kampung Cafe somewhere in Hutan Kampung, still in Alor Setar, on our way up north.

This place must be popular as there were already many people having their breakfast when we arrived.
Nowadays it has become a trend to display old electrical appliances or any items of the past as part of the deco for the cafe or restaurant.

The hot coffee was poured direct from the huge kettle into the cup, as shown in the video below.

We did not stay long and left the place as soon as the food and drinks were finished as we had to get to a morning market and were afraid it might closed down if we were late.
