HOUSEWARMING PARTY CUM UPM TESL CLASS OF 1993 GATHERING - PART 3

 5th NOVEMBER 2022  ~ We all first met in Universiti Pertanian Malaysia [UPM] in 1987 for our TESL Matriculation course and we were all the members of the pioneering batch of that programme. Two years after that, we continued with our Bachelor of Education TESL programme and graduated in 1993. Since then, we were all separated and scattered all over the country.

Earlier after we completed our studies, we got connected on e-Circle on the Internet, then after that on Friendster before Facebook was in existence. Eventually we were all together again when everyone has access to Whatsapp and Telegram. We had had quite a number of gatherings since we graduated - small ones and two grand reunion sessions.

This year, however, we had two less people to join us in our gathering. The passing of two friends, one in March and the other one last month, who were the regular people who would join this kind of meeting, was really unexpected and heartbreaking. They were gone too soon but they would be always forever be in our hearts.

Believe me, this gathering is not going to be the last one. We will always put the effort to have more get together sessions any other time possible.

Too bad I had to leave the place earlier as I had a flight to catch at 7:00 p.m. Parting is a sweet sorrow and really hope to see my friends again, in smaller or bigger reunion sessions soon.

Thanks again Puan Adila Ahmad for hosting the party and inviting us to your house. And thanks also to everyone who had made it to the TESL gathering this time. Someone should be planning our next 30 Years After Graduation Reunion next year.
