TANJUNG EMAS MUAR REVISITED

26th NOVEMBER 2022 ~ I was back in Muar to attend an Aqiqah event but I was there a bit too early. So I decided to stop by at Tanjung Emas and I was at one spot where I had never explored before.

There was a long track for people to jog or brisk walk by the Muar River. There were also garden benches if visitors would just want to sit down and enjoy the scenery.

Most of the people who jogged or walked that morning were the senior citizens.

This was the other entrance/exit of the running/walking track.

Parents could take their children to the playground so they could be disconnected from their gadgets for a while.

Do not feed the monkeys. I remember seeing people came here to do just that a long time ago.

This path would take you to the other part of Tanjung Emas where you could get to the jetty and a more commercial area.

Hopefully when I come back in 2023, this project would be completed.

This is the kind of place I would love to spend my free time later when I have retired. I would have to find out if there is any similar spot in Johor Bahru.
