11th NOVEMBER 2023 ~ After the wedding reception in Subang, Mr. Ridwan Wahid, a friend of UPM TESL Class of 1993, invited Puan Sakinah Ismail and her husband, another TESL friend from Seremban, to his house in Shah Alam. I was also there as I should be the guest of the day too 😀
Mr. Ridwan made a short stop at a stall selling Fried Banana in a nearby village. We thought the stall had not operated yet but as the car was going astern, we saw the lady taking out the Fried Banana, steaming hot straight from the pan.
We had crispy-licious fried banana for tea that afternoon, with refreshing iced strawberry [was it strawberry?] tea?
The topics discussed were mainly about bringing up kids and how to eat healthily, and no sensational gossips at all. *YAWN*
Hence, another mini reunion took place in Shah Alam.
By 4:00 p.m., Puan Sakinah and her husband had to make a move to get back home while the hosts would be sending me to the airport right after that.
I had a short stay in Selangor but I was glad to get united with many [old] friends in three different occasions. I am looking forward to many more gatherings after this.
