A MINI REUNION AT KPJ KAJANG SPECIALIST HOSPITAL

9th NOVEMBER 2018 ~ I decided to pay Ms. Jashireen Mohd. Bashir, an old friend from UPM TESL class of 1993 group, a visit at KPJ Kajang Hospital. She had just undergone a surgery and I made myself free and day-traveled to Kuala Lumpur

At the same time, a few other friends whom I seldom meet in real life, had also come to meet the patient at the ward. (I had initially announced of my arrival in our Whatsapp group). The greatest relief when we found out that the other patient sharing the room with our friend had been discharged. It was important as we had the room all to ourselves and there was no need to control the volume of the noises produced.

BEFORE WE ENTERED THE WARD, a mini reunion had already taken place at the hospital lobby. There were actually ten of us there, and three ladies had already gone visiting like half an hour earlier. We still stayed there for a short while but the hospital ambience suddenly changed. When I first arrived, the place used to be quiet and peaceful.

We had to bid farewell to our friend, Miss Jashireen, and pray that she will recover real soon so that we could see her for our upcoming grand reunion hi-tea which will be held in December. She was so eager to attend the gathering and I do hope more people from the group will also be there.
