AND AFTER LEEDS, IT WAS YORK

Mr. Faizam was again kind enough to drive us up north to York after the visit to Leeds. Frankly speaking, I do not know what to expect, because York was not commercially promoted like London. We arrived at York quite late, at about 8:00 p.m. but as it was summer, the sun would only set at about 9:00.

Surprise! Surprise! York was a beautiful city, with its ancient castle and building, an architecture that was dated as far back as hundred of years in the past. And I did not have much information about York or the buildings. I would have to google that and that was why I could not write a lot here, but I guess you can surf the net on your own to satisfy your curiousity. But for the time being, enjoy these pictures.

It was as if I was already transported into a different world - waiting for a group of knights in shining armours, carrying shining and pointed spears to emerge out from the castle, galloping on their strong and fast horses. Something like from the Robin Hood movies.

More pictures of York later, for sure.
