BALI DAY 1 - ROAMING THE STREETS OF KUTA
After the sun had gone down, we continued with the next activity: exploring Kuta. This was the place with rows and rows of shops selling all kinds of things and definitely a spot to cater for tourists' needs.
Some shops were closed in the evening because the next day was "Galungan" - an important religious celebration in Bali. In front of every house (or shop), there was a "penjor" - decorated bamboo poles and we saw "penjor" in abundance throughout our stay there.
I did not buy anything so I could not tell you about the price of goods here. However, it was always entertaining just to walk and window-shop.
