Right after the Barong Dance performance, we were taken to this batik outlet. Outside the shop, there was a demonstration on how batik was made but there were not many workers as that day was a public holiday to celebrate "Galungan".
So after looking at the short demonstration and exhibition we just went into the batik shop and we spent more time inside as there were many batik-themed items on sale. There were shirts and dresses, hats and purses, cushion covers and tablecloths. And business was real good with tourists getting batik-made-in-Indonesia goods, most probably as souvenirs, to bring back home.
