A few people from Johor Bahru district's the chess committee members were called for a short gathering. This time it was to celebrate the team's victory to emerge as the overall champion at state level competition this year. We met at Pizza Hut Restaurant in Taman Perling in the evening. Too bad many people were not able could not attend but on the other hand, we had more food to share. :)
We seldom have the chance to see each other actually. Most of the time, it is a once-in-a-year kind of thing when the chess competition season is in progress. However, over the year, we have become friends.
Thanks to Mr. Iskandar Al-Mahdi for inviting me even though I did not go for the state level competition this year. Hopefully I can still be with the team next year.
