THE HOT SPRING MUSEUM IN BEITOU

5th JUNE 2016 ~ From the front facade, this building looked like a house but it was actually a museum. Hot springs are so popular here in Beitou, they even have a museum for it.

People come here mostly to get away from the busy Taipei city, enjoy the green environment and get themselves pampered with the spa and sauna facilities available here.

The building was initially built as a public bath house during the Japanese occupation in 1913 before it was turned into a museum it is now today. This is definitely a place I would go on my own at night. :)
