A VISIT TO SUNGAI SEDIM RECREATIONAL FOREST IN KULIM

23rd FEBRUARY 2024 ~ Before going to Kulim, I did some research to find out any attractive places to visit. Hutan Lipur Sungai Sedim was one of the top spots but it was too far away to get there, especially when I was using public transport. Fortunately, my cousin's daughter and son-in-law had already planned to take me there right after having breakfast.

The distance from Kulim Town to the place was about 30 kilometres. The road was clear of traffic that morning so it was a smooth trip. One had to pay the entrance fee of RM2.00 for an adult.

The place should be popular for its stream. There were families having picnic near the river when we arrived. We, on the other hand, did not have any plan to get wet in the cool water but it would be something that I would love to do one day.

There were not many people as it was Friday afternoon. We actually wanted to go on a more exciting trip - to walk above the treetop.
