This was a friendly chess competition between
SMK Taman Universiti and
SMK Kangkar Pulai. At the same time, there were also other friendly matches involving games like football and netball. The whole thing was put forward by
En. Shahabuddin Yusof, an ex-teacher of
SMKTUN who is now the Principal of the other school.
Thanks to the students and teachers of
SMK Kangkar Pulai for visiting. This was definitely something that would benefit both schools as students had been exposed to a "real time" kind of environment.
