K11 ART MALL, HONG KONG

We came across K11 Art Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui area and decided to get a closer look. It should in a way be a shopping mall but it looked more like an art gallery rather than a shopping complex.

First there was this pink elephant with ears that could move and two words "LOVE ME" in front of it. Some people took the opportunity to get themselves photographed at this very spot.

And there was also a big TV screen that was bright enough to light up the whole area.

Upon entering the building, we were greeted by this huge painting of Monalisa. Without looking closely, we thought it was just an ordinary painting, someone trying to copy the work of the most well-known portrait in the world. I thought it was just an advertisement as Monalisa was spotted holding a handphone.

There were also work of art displays placed at a few spots of the mall which were something fun to look at. These people who produced all these must be very creative.

We went into one shop and they were selling items which had very unique designs, but we did not take any pictures as photography was prohibited in the premise. Other than the 3-D exhibits, we also saw other art showcase which was more abstract but interesting and I would try to publish that in the blog later.
