VISITING THE CAT MEOWSEUM IN GEORGETOWN - PART TWO

16TH DECEMBER 2022  ~ One would need hours to see all the exhibits in the Meowseum. Some of the items had travelled thousands of kilometres to get there. They were either bought or contributed/donated. The owner's ability to decorate the house and put up the display for cat lovers in a large scale would be something not everyone could do.

Children were not allowed to enter Meowseum as they could not control themselves from touching the items exhibited. There were cases where the items were damaged and broken. At the same time, the kids also disturbed and scared the cats that lived there.

I managed to see the three live in cats in the gallery - but they were not for petting.

I approached the person at the counter and he was actually the owner of the Cat Meowseum. He was a friendly guy and we had a short chat which had provided some input to the background history of this place.

This place reminded me so much of the Cat Museum in Kuching visited in September last year. Now the cat lovers out there should know where to go to when they are in Penang.
