CRYSTAL CROWN, PETALING JAYA, KUALA LUMPUR

I was given a room for attending the AFS dinner and I should be sharing with a roommate whom I had never met but he never turned up, so it was my lucky day. Although I spent less than 24 hours there, at least I was there because I don't think I am willing to part with my cash to stay here at Crystal Crown, Petaling Jaya. 

One important factor that I like the most about this hotel is that it is located near to the two LRT stations, Taman Jaya and Asia Jaya, so it is easily accessible with public transportation.

I just miss the time when teachers/government servants were given the privilege to spend time in good hotels if there were any meetings/briefings/courses. *sigh*

ATTENDING AFS FAREWELL DINNER IN KUALA LUMPUR

13TH MAY 2016 ~ I attended the AFS Farewell Dinner held at Crystal Crown, Petaling Jaya, representing the school's Principal. The school had to host a foreign student from Hungary in the foreign student exchange programme, and after almost one year she now has to go back to her home country.

The event lasted for 3 hours with speeches, performances, award presentations and dinner. With everything paid for, I do not have anything to complain.

A 2-DAY KUALA LUMPUR GETAWAY

When was the last time I went to Kuala Lumpur for work, and good hotel and good food was provided? A VERY long time ago.

So here I was in Crystal Crown, Petaling Jaya, attending an event on behalf of the Principal. It was very short but I had nothing to complain. I do not know when would I have the chance to be in KL again for work-related matter. Gone are the days when I got to see old friends once in a while, and had a lot of fun while attending any meetings or briefings. *sigh*
