[CONTINUATION FROM PART ONE] In one section of the museum, visitors could experience how it felt to be in a ship ferrying people from distant lands to New Zealand. I could hear the creaking sounds of the wooden wood when the ship was rocking to the left and right and I would not recommend people who could get seasick easily to try this. Someone would have to clean your vomit then.
You had to pay a fee to enter and there was this package that would take visitors sailing on a real ship. I guess it would be very interesting but unfortunately, I missed that. I do not know whether I could come back to catch the sailing trip some other time.

VISITING AUCKLAND MARITIME MUSEUM - PART ONE
I have lost count the number of museums that I had visited when I was in New Zealand but I never failed to learn something new during my stay. The Auckland Maritime Museum focuses on things which are related to the sea. The story is told according to the simplified timeline: the ancestors and the sea voyage - the emigration of foreigners to New Zealand - New Zealand's success in water sports at world level.
to be continued in part two ...
