CHEONG GYE CHEON STREAM AT DONGDAEMUN

I do not really know what the name of this particular stream in Dongdaemun and after I googled for more information, this could be the extension of the Cheong Gye Cheon Stream that I saw earlier [READ HERE]. We were here quite late in the evening and there were people sitting on both sides of the stream enjoying the view.

A STREAM IN THE HEART OF SEOUL CITY

This is the stream that is located right in heart of city centre. What makes Cheong Gye Cheon Stream special is that it was once a dirty and polluted river  but now it flows with clean water. How could that become possible? Technology.

That hot summer afternoon, we could see there were many people sitting and relaxing. It could be a therapeutic activity, just by looking at the stream and it is free of charge.

I wonder whether we can have the streams in the country to be cleaned up and utilized by public like this. Just imagine Klang River in Kuala Lumpur or Segget River in Johor Bahru becoming an attraction for tourists.
