HOPPING INTO A 5-DAY BREAK OF THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT

Today was the last day of school and there will be a 5-day break in conjunction with the Chinese New Year. The students were happy, the teachers were happier.

A few Chinese students [of SMK Dato' Jaafar] were kind enough to give me oranges [after being prompted to do so]. Thanks to all the kind souls. May this year be filled with joy and prosperity.

CELEBRATING THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL OF 2019 AND A 40-DAY BELATED BIRTHDAY

It was the last day of school of the year and we decided to go Korean. The complete members of the group with the slogan "Let's Grow Fat Together" gathered again at K-Fry Urban Korean Restaurant after school.

At the same time, there was a belated birthday celebration for one of the group members, 40 days late.

It was just an ordinary birthday celebration UNTIL the grand finale arrived. Thank god there were only a few customers left in the restaurant at that time. Looking back at the video, everybody had had a good laugh and it would be something to remember for a long time.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Mr. Mohd. Khir Makhbul, Puan Mazelina Mahmood, Puan Rashida Ali, Puan Rumaiah Asan and Puan Ida Amiza for the time, the food and the birthday celebration.

We actually still have the time to achieve the group's goal i.e. to get fatter before the school reopens next January.

FINALLY AND OFFICIALLY RETIRED

Finally, the time has come for Puan A'liah Hussein to officially retire from the teaching profession today. And she has now vacated the seat of the Senior Assistant of the Afternoon Session at SMK Mutiara Rini.

Even though I have had lost a very dear friend for many short but regular gossip sessions in school, I am actually very happy for her as this could be the best decision she has made for herself. And hopefully, we will be seeing each other again (in a bigger group) some other time in the future. 

May Puan A'liah Hussein enjoy her retirement days ahead to the fullest. And we will plan for more eating and gossiping sessions for next year.

THE LAST MEETING WITH THE FORM 3 CLASS AT ASRAMA SEMAI BAKTI FELDA

15TH NOVEMBER 2015 ~ This was the last get-together with my form 3 English class at Asrama Semai Bakti Felda. I was with them for 10 months and now that the PT3 was over, that was the end of my coaching sessions.

Wishing them the very best of luck, no matter where they will be after this. It has been a pleasant experience to teach another batch of form 3 students at the hostel. May we see each other again (outside the classroom) next year.

Bidding farewell to my beloved students. Let the photos do the talking. One reason why leaving is something really hard to do. I miss them so much, it hurts.
