SEEING KOBE FROM A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW

21st JULY 2024    ~ It was time to sail on the waters of Kobe so we bought the tickets and went on Kobe Bay Cruise.

The vessel was painted striking red and it was traditionally crafted.

It was actually very hot that summer afternoon. If one did not like to be in the scorching heat, he/she could sit in the air-conditioned structure. However, the view would be clearer and more spectacular if one observed the surroundings from the deck.

We just enjoyed ourselves, admiring Kobe from a different point of view and everything looked picture postcards with the bright, blue sky and sea in different tones.

The whole trip lasted for about 45 minutes [I think] but the images of Kobe would always remain in our minds.

FIVE TOURISTS ON SUNGAI PERAK BOAT CRUISE

26TH AUGUST 2023    ~ The decision made by five [young] adults to go on the river cruise on Perak River in Kuala Kangsar was a spontaneous one. Still clad in our glamourous attires after attending the wedding reception, we took the challenge to go down the steep wooden stairs at the jetty to get into the boat [and to get out and up into the jetty later].

There was also a family of five who went on the cruise with us in the small boat.

The whole cruise took about 30 minutes but we had fun like real tourists did. You just never know when you will be back to the same place again and whether you will be able to enjoy the boat ride one more time. Carpe diem!

THE BOAT RIDE AT CHEW JETTY IN GEORGETOWN

17TH DECEMBER 2022  ~ I got to know there was a boat ride activity at Chew Jetty when I went there. The ride took about 20 minutes - cruising from Chew Jetty to Padang Kota Waterfront, to and fro. I wouldn't know when I would be back there again so I took the opportunity to see Georgetown from a different perspective.

This should be a popular activity as there were many people who went on the boat ride, even before and after the trip I took.

THE VIDEO OF THE BOAT TRIP

There is now an option visitors to Penang have when they are at the famous Chew Jetty. As for me, [I have] been there, done that.
