ATTENDING A WORKSHOP OUTSIDE SCHOOL

I was asked at the eleventh hour to attend a workshop at MPJBT Hall in Skudai. The event should start at 8:30 a.m, but I was still in school at 9:30 a.m. I just drove out from the school compound, hoping that I would not miss too much knowing that I would be late. It so happened that there were people who came much later than me.

The workshop was held by "Yayasan Penyayang" MPJBT (a local council), conducting programmes for school to fulfill its community service. Thank God it all ended by 2:00 p.m. after lunch.

I met an ex-student from SMKTUN SPM batch 2008 there who is now attached with the Council.

I think I need a haircut already.

STARTING WORK A BIT EARLIER THIS TIME

I was asked to represent the principal for the launching of a programme done by the local municipal council i.e. MPJBT. The event was held at SMK Skudai at 2:00 p.m. on a very hot Saturday afternoon in an open hall.

Basically the flow of the event was as such: speeches, the launching session, giving away of the vouchers to school representatives/parents and photo-taking sessions, tea time.

My school holiday has already officially ended. It is still too early to start the next countdown for the upcoming school break. *sigh*
