ATTENDING THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF MR. FAHMI FOAD

I made a return trip to Zarith Sofia Library in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia [UTM] to attend the wedding reception of another ex-student. Mr. Fahmi Foad is an alumnus of SMK Taman Universiti and his mother, Puan Zaiti Ismail, is my ex-colleague of the same school. 

As usual, there was a reunion session with ex-students and old friends. The photoshoot session happened from the beginning after arriving, right until the end.

I had met enough friends and ex-students for the day and it was time to say "goodbye" to the bride and groom, and the hosting family members.

Wishing Mr. Fahmi and the bride a happy life ahead as a husband and wife, filled with love and laughter.

ATTENDING THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF AN EX-COLLEAGUE'S DAUGHTER

   3rd May 2025    ~ An ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, Puan Sabariah Manshor, held a wedding reception for her daughter. The venue was at Raja Zarith Sofia Library in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

It is always a pleasure to be able to see old friends during wedding receptions like this. May we have the chance to do this many more times.

I had to go to another venue for another invitation right after. [READ HERE] Getting fat is not a choice as when people invite, I will try my very best to accept.

ATTENDING THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF THE DAUGHTER OF PUAN ZALILAH IBRAHIM

Puan Zalilah Ibrahim, an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, invited me to the wedding reception of her daughter, Ms. Hamizah Solehah Hushin. The venue was at Raja Zarith Sofia Library, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The groom was also an ex-student of my English tuition class when she was in Form Five a long time ago.

It was a huge relief to see a familiar face in the hall after getting my food from the buffet table. Then I saw more and more other people whom I recognized.

Then there were Puan Hamidah Mokhtar, an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, with her husband and son.

Next, I met Puan Sharifah Abu Bakar, an ex-colleague of SMK Gelang Patah. We were there in 1993/94.

There were two ex-students: Miss Khadijah whom is an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, and Miss Amirah Mohd. Pauzi, also an ex-student of my English tuition class last time. She and the bride attended the same school, Sekolah Menengah Islam Hidayah.

Thanks to Puan Zalilah for inviting me to the reception despite the fact that we only now belong to one Whatsapp Group of the Teacher Alumni of SMK Taman Universiti. I really appreciate her kind gesture.

ATTENDING PUAN ZURAIDA'S SON'S WEDDING RECEPTION

Puan Zuraida Hussien. an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, invited me to eldest son wedding held at Raja Zarith Sofia Library in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Puan Zuraida was sent to another school to hold a senior assistant post before she opted for early retirement. The groom was also an ex-student of SMKTUN and all her children were in the same school before.

As usual, there were some friends/ex-colleagues met in the hall. Unfortunately, they were seated with other people so it was quite difficult to get them to be photographed together. I was early today so I did not have the chance to meet the groom.

Thanks to Puan Zuraida for the kind thought. Hopefully I will be seeing her again in her other receptions in the future.
