ANGKLUNG GROUP'S FIRST PUBLIC APPEARANCE FOR 2018

The Angklung Group of SMK Taman Universiti made their very first public appearance for the year 2018 during the Annual General Meeting of the Parents-Teachers Association.

We presented three songs within the 10 minutes allocated: "Tian Mi Mi (Dayung Sampan)", "What A Wonderful World" and "Terukir di Bintang".

As usual, there were a number of ex-students who were there.

Congratulations to all the group members for the effort and hard work.

It is now to get ready for our next performance in a fortnight.

THE FIRST ANGKLUNG PERFORMANCE FOR THE YEAR 2016

It was the first performance for the Angklung Group for SMK Taman Universiti. We were asked to perform for the opening ceremony of the PTA Annual General Meeting today. We played two songs: "Ayam Den Lapeh" and "Still Loving You". I think the boys are ready to rock more, just hope we could the chance to perform outside school after this.

As usual there were friends and ex-students smiling and saying "hi" you. This is place where (almost) everyone knows my name. It really felt like home.

PTA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2014

Saturday, 15th March ~ The PTA Annual General Meeting was held today. It was another routine programme but what made this year's event more interesting was that (majority of) the teachers were wearing the new school dresses/shirts with a new design and colour. Grey was THE colour for everybody this time.
