ATTENDING A WEDDING RECEPTION OF A COLLEAGUE'S SON IN BUKIT MUTIARA

Puan Rozana Kabil, once the Chief Clerk of SMK Taman Universiti, invited me to the wedding reception of her son. I think this was my third time attending her children's receptions.

The event was held at Pearl Homestay in Taman Bukit Mutiara, Johor Bahru. It is rare to told a reception on a working weekday, but there were still many people attending when I arrived.

I was glad to meet a few people that I knew, besides the mother of the bride.

I got to thank Puan Rozana Kabil for her kind thought to invite me again to her son's reception. She was too busy entertaining the other guests for a longer chat session.

The first type of accommodation available at Dusun Tok Din Homestay was the Bus House. A bus was converted into a complete house would be suitable for a small family of about four people. The children would be excited to get to stay in this Bus House.

What does the Bus House provide?
  • 2 Queen Beds
  • 1 Bathroom
  • Living Area
  • Swimming Pool
  • Television
  • Mini Fridge
    Microwave and Kettle
  • Sink
  • Air-Conditioners
I myself would love to experience living in a bus for once.

VISITING DUSUN TOK DIN: HOMESTAY IN THE ORCHARD - OVERVIEW

1st JUNE 2024    ~ After attending the wedding reception of an ex-classmate's sons in Tasik Gelugor [READ HERE], Mr. Shamsul Akmal and Shamsuddin and his wife asked me to join them to visit their friend's homestay nearby. They were quite persistent so I had no choice but to agree.

I was already impressed the first time the car entered the compound of the homestay. The concept used was Homestay in the Orchard. The place was really huge and there were four types of accommodation available which I would do some sort of review extensively.

There was also a huge swimming pool here which should be good news for family with small kids who love to swim and play in the water.

There were also many fruit trees like durians, rambutans and mangosteens.

We were lucky as the were ripe durians that just fell from the tress so we had a small durian feast at the homestay.

I will take you on a tour around the accommodation available at Tok Din Homestay in the next posts.
