ARRIVING AT AND LEAVING BUSAN GIMHAE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Busan Gimhae International Airport that greeted me when I landed in Busan on 22nd March 2019 and bade me farewell when I left the city on three days later.

One thing I like about this airport is that there is a train station right outside the building that takes you straight to the city centre. You still have to change trains at different stations, depending on where you want to go. If you a budget traveler, this should be one of the best options available.

There was this small area where a mini exhibition of Korean culture was held.

The airport was small actually but still accommodating. Guess people still prefer Seoul to Busan for the time being.

This should be my very last post of my trip to Busan which happened 5 months ago. Finally!

BUSINESS HOTEL BUSAN STATION IN BUSAN

I stayed in Business Hotel Busan Station when I was in Busan from 22nd to 25th March 2019. The place in near to both Busan Metro Station and Busan Train Station.

What I liked about the hotel?

[1] The room was equipped with a personal computer with internet access. A desktop and a real monitor!
[2] It was near to the metro station so I could basically moved around the city easily.
[3] Free flow of coffee from a coffee machine which ground coffee beans, any time and as frequent as my heart desired.

What I did not like about the hotel?

[1] The person at the counter did not accept credit card payment when I arrived. Consequently, I had less money to spend and that made me worried. And that was all.

They also prepared simple breakfast of bread/toast with butter and jam. And coffee, of course.

If I were to get back to Busan one day, I would sure stay at this place again.

STOPPING BY AT BUSAN TRAIN STATION

I was not taking the real train when I was in Busan but Busan Station was very near to my hotel so I could just stop by a few times.

How would I describe the station in three words? Spacious, modern and clean.

The station is a terminal for the KTX line train that connects Busan to Seoul which takes 3 hours of traveling on rail.

I would love to travel by train in Korea (minus all the zombies). One fine day, maybe...

MY BUSAN GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - SHRIMP BURGER AT LOTTERIA

25th MARCH 2019 ~ My one and only gastronomic adventure in Busan happened on the last day at the airport before flying back home. The only place where I could get halal food was Lotteria which served shrimp burger and this should be my second time eating there. The first one when I was in Jeju Island back in 2015.

I wonder when Lotteria is coming to Malaysia? I am quite sure people will not miss a chance to go Korean. Well, it happens all the time here.
