PERFORMING FIRDAY PRAYER AT DAMANSARA PERDANA MOSQUE

17th OCTOBER 2025    ~ As suggested by a friend, I decided to go to Damansara Perdana Mosque to perform my Friday Prayer. Not only the place was near to the hotel I was staying, but it was also one modern structure unlike other conventional mosques in the country.

I was lucky as a friend's son, Mr. Omar, picked me up at the hotel, drove me to the mosque and send me back later.

It was love at first sight. I think the main materials used for the mosque were huge iron rods.

I was impressed as there were elevators to get to upper floor where the main prayer hall was located [and another one obviously going down].

The were no pillars in the prayer hall that could obstruct one's view and consequently, the place looked really spacious.

There was also no traffic jam when we got out of the mosque after the prayer. I will definitely come back to this holy building when I am in Damansara in the future.

PERFORMING FRIDAY PRAYER AT DARUL EHSAN MOSQUE IN SUBANG JAYA

22nd AUGUST 2025    ~ I performed my Friday Prayer at Darul Ehsan Mosque in Subang Jaya this time during my stay there. The holy building was located near to the hotel where I was staying, Empire.

I managed to spot my friend's father/father-in-law who was praying at the same section as mine.

I might be coming back to this place again if I were to stay in Subang Jaya some other time.

THE TWO MOSQUES VISITED IN KLUANG AND KULAI

7th JUNE 2024    ~ During our outing trip to Kluang, we had to stop twice at the mosques. The first one was Masjid Bandar Kluang [TRANSLATE: Kluang Town Mosque] for our Friday Prayer.

There were not many people at the mosque that afternoon. I think the building was not located at a residential area. There were still many empty spaces before the start of the prayer.

There was also no traffic congestion on the road outside the mosque.

The next mosque was Masjid Firdaus in Kampung Ayer Manis, Kulai. We stopped for our Asar prayer, another day prayer for the Muslims. Located just by the road side, travelers could access the building easily.

It was just a small mosque for the Muslim community in the village.

It would be easier if I were to go back to these two districts next time as it would be important to have some ideas where I could stop for my prayers.

PERFORMING FRIDAY PRAYER AT IBADUR RAHMAN MOSQUE IN KEPALA BATAS

31ST MAY 2024 ~ I had the opportunity to perform my Friday Prayer in Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang, as I arrived the day before.

The front desk staff recommended Ibadur Rahman Mosque which should be the nearest place for me to go. Still I had to take a Grab Car as it was more than 1 kilometres and there was no way for me to walk under the scorching hot sun.

It was a small mosque which should accommodate the Muslim community at that place. Coincidentally, I would be meeting an ex-student right after who has the same name as the mosque [READ HEREREAD HERE]. 😀
