VISITING INDONESIA BANK MUSEUM - PART 3

14th MARCH 2020 ~ The museum was quite huge and there were a lot of exhibits to be observed. We spent quite some time inside, learning the a bit of the history of Indonesia.

You would definitely need more time to explore the place inside out. One of the museums I would recommend you to visit when you are in Jakarta. It is also located near to the tourist's attractions i.e. the Old City so you should also drop by.

TESTING MY NEW TOY

My friend sent me a new toy last month. It was finally the time to unbox the package for me to use the electrical appliance  .

I had a few packets of Dim Sum given by my niece in the refrigerator and someone would have to [cook and] eat it all.

before

after

The Dim Sum was delicious but the mini steamer was a very big help for someone who gets into the kitchen to just boil water and fry eggs. The steaming was fast and the most important thing, it was easy to clean the gadget after use. I am so ready to "cook" other food again.

Thanks again Puan Sakinah Mohd. Ismail, an ex-coursemate of UPM TESL 1993, for the present and I promise I will put it to good use.

BOYS' DAY OUT

It was time for a reunion session with two ex-students of SMK Taman Universiti [SPM batch 2017] Mr. Nor Adlan Azmi and Mr. Wan Mohd Faiz. The last time I saw them could be 3 years ago during their school graduation ceremony held at Pulai Spring Resort. They are now doing their undergraduate studies at two different local universities.

Now that they have their driving licences, distance is no longer a problem. We decided to meet up at Mid Valley Mall which is near to my place as there are more things to see and more choices of eating places to pick.

We first had burgers at Carl's Junior and that was my first time there. Really thick and juicy burger patties which were soft and I don't mind coming back for the second time.

After walking around the multi levels mall, we were ready to sit down for cake and coffee and there was SDS Cafe in the building which should be the best option.

After 3 1/2 hours of good company and good food, it was time to bid farewell. We would definitely need more time to update each other of the latest development [READ: gossip] so hopefully there will be another get together session after this. That should not be a big problem actually as classes are now done online and they are following the lectures from the comfort of their homes. We will have to see whether that is going to happen soon.

VISITING INDONESIA BANK MUSEUM - PART 2

14th MARCH 2020 ~ There were quite a lot to see in the Bank Museum of Indonesia. As we were exploring the place, we were actually walking along a timeline of the history of Indonesia economy and banking activities. The most important thing was to observe how the rich resources of the nation had been robbed and shipped back to the colonists' motherland.

Apart from the exhibits, I found the architecture of the building was quite impressive. Definitely one place to do a wedding outdoor photo shoot.

TO BE CONTINUED IN PART THREE . . .
