BEIJING DAY 3 - FORBIDDEN CITY PART 2

With still a few more photos of the Forbidden City still in store, it would be a waste not to share them with you. Sorry I could not write to describe more as I myself was not that sure - there were too many buildings around but the awesome view was more than enough for words to describe. I was imagining myself in one of the Chinese fighting or Shaolin movies except there were no warriors flying in the air or jumping from roof to roof.

BEIJING DAY 3 - FORBIDDEN CITY PART 1

The Forbidden City was the next stop which is actually located opposite of Tiananmen Square. Again, there were hundreds of people swarming the place as it the was some sort of
celebration going on. The difficult thing to do was to stop and take pictures then was left behind and separated from the group. The place was a large area where you could see the majestic Chinese architecture. According to the tourist guide, only 30% of the place was opened to tourists and that already might have made some people get exhausted of walking. I wish I could spend more time here, sometimes I felt like I was in the "Amazing Race".
