PENYABONG WARISAN RESORT AT A GLIMPSE

We stayed at Penyabong Warisan Resort for one night during our road trip on 2-3 December 2022. I couldn't remember when was the last time I stayed in a chalet - it must be a very long time ago.

The first building you would see was the admin building which also house a few hotel like rooms for those who did not fancy staying in a chalet.

Our chalet consisted of a bedroom with one queen bed and one single bed, a small hall and a bathroom. This could accommodate more than three people at one time.

It had the living in the village atmosphere but the chalets were close to each other so you had to always control your volume.

There are a few barbecue pits near the chalets so you could stay and grill your food when you stay here. [read HERE]

One of the activities was kayaking. There was no lifesaver on duty and people did not wear life jackets. You have been warned!

One thing I like about this resort was there was a small jetty at the back of the place.

When we went there in the evening, it was high tide.

In the morning, there was low tide and you could see the muddy sand of the sea.

There were two people who were at work finding cockles in the muddy sand.

Will I return and stay at this place again?
I will - just to sit down, enjoy life and let the time pass by slowly. Soon...

BARBECUE NIGHT AT THE CHALET

2ND DECEMBER 2022   ~ The only night activity we had was barbecuing our own food for dinner at the chalet. The raw food was ordered from the school canteen so we just had to barbecue everything in the evening.

The barbecued food was unbelievably delicious. There was even excess food that we ate for lunch the next day.

STOPPING BY AT TANJUNG PENYABONG AFTER THE TREKKING ACTIVITY

2ND DECEMBER 2022   ~ The last time I was here was many years ago and things sure had changed a lot. In fact, the place was not developed at all when I first came here. Now it had become a tourist attraction especially among the locals. The place was popular as there were many people and vehicles at the jetty area.

The first major attraction was its food court. People who go on holiday must be hungry all the time. There was this one stall which seemed more popular as there was long queue forming in front to get the freshly cooked/fried food.

The second attraction would be the long jetty that you could walk to the middle of the straits.

This should be a perfect spot for one who just wants to forget all the problems in life and find peace for once.

I am so looking forward to coming back to this place again and am sure there are more things to discover.
