HAVING COFFEE IN A LITTLE CAFE BY THE BEACH

9th JUNE 2015 ~ It was time to get our morning coffee break but we actually wanted to experience doing it Korean style. However, there was actually nothing Korean except the person who prepared the coffee for us was one. It was very western indeed, sitting and looking out of the window out to the sea and Woljeong Beach, while sipping my latte and spooning waffle and ice cream.

After refueling, we were ready for more walking and climbing activities right after.

WOLJEONG BEACH AND ITS COLOURFUL CHAIRS

9th JUNE 2015 ~ If you are in Jeju, be ready to see beaches during your road trip. It is an island so what do you expect? This was our second beach visited on the third day, and again, there were very few people and no bikini babes as well. However, Woljeong Beach looked more commercialized than the one we went to before this.

The first thing we saw was the cuttlefish being hanged on a wire by the roadside at the beach. That was one natural way to produce and preserve seafood. We managed to try the barbecued cuttlefish at our next stop.

One of the attractions of the beach was the colourful wooden benches and chairs. People basically came here to get photographed sitting on these objects in whatever positions they desired. I did not know whether the benches and chairs symbolized anything, I am yet to google for it later.

We then adjourned to the cafe for our morning coffee.
