BALI DAY 4 - PURA TAMAN AYUN PART TWO

The temple is surrounded by brick walls that acted as a fence so visitors could only observe the place from afar.

There was also a large green park around the temple which could be a perfect spot for a lunch picnic on a sunny day.

BALI DAY 4 - PURA TAMAN AYUN PART ONE

After the temple in Bedugul, we went to one more temple and this time it was Pura Taman Ayun. This place is bigger and the landscaping looked more modern. There was a park behind the place and the temple was actually surrounded by walls so we just observed the buildings from afar.

 

There was this tower at one corner and I walked up the narrow and steep stairs excitedly. From up there, we could have a bird's eye view of the front part of the temple.
