THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY IN MANILA [PART 2]

The rest of the museum showcased the life of the people of the people in the Philippines, from the past to the present. Here, I got to learn more about the people from the Southern part of the archipelago which are closely related to the Malay ethnic.

The people of Philippines should be proud they have a grand museum like this. We had to leave the building as there was another huge museum nearby to be visited before it was closed to visitors.

THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY IN MANILA [PART 1]

thought this was the entrance
but it was the rear end of the building
29th AUGUST 2017 ~ I was not sure whether we were still in Intramuros or not, by the time we say the majestic building of the National Museum of Anthropology.

I was really impressed at the first sight of the museum. It was huge, like the museums I had seen in Washington D.C., or London, or Taipeh.

The first section of the museum exhibited the ivory which made the Philippines an important center for this activity.

Then, we saw the items that were found from the sunken ship "San Diego" which proved that the Philippines was once the centre of ceramics trade from China.

The museum was real huge. If you are a museum buff, then you will need to spend a longer time here.
