ATTENDING THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF THE SON OF AN EX-COLLEAGUE OF SMK TMN UNIVERSITI

I was invited by Puan Chik Ahmad to the wedding reception of his son, the first one for the family. Puan Chik was an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti and she was one of the office staff. It was an appreciation to be remembered and invited even though we had not been in the same school for many years already.

The reception was held at the family house in Kangkar Pulai.

I still remember the groom, Mr. Izzat, was still in primary level when he followed his mother to the office after school and he is now already someone's husband.

Thank you Puan Chik Ahmad for inviting. Hopefully she will still invite me for more wedding receptions to come.

WEDDING #1

I managed to arrive at the venue of the reception just in time and I was among the last people to leave. There was just one ex-student who was still there. However, all the bridegroom's other siblings are the ex-students (and one is still the student) of SMK Taman Universiti.

I just had about half an hour to gossip and get myself photographed with the lovely couple and other people there.

WEDDING #2

This was actually the first reception I went to right after the hi-tea event at Hotel Mutiara. There were a few ex-colleagues of SMK Taman Universiti under the canopy. Unfortunately, the bride and bridegroom had gone for their outdoor photography session.

The bridegroom's mother is also an ex-teacher of SMK Taman Universiti who has opted for early retirement. I guess I know everyone in the family quite well.

Wishing all the newlyweds a happy and blessed married lives ahead.

THE 11TH DAY OF SYAWAL 1437H

Four ex-students of SMKTUN who are siblings came visiting with their parents, kids, husbands and wife. They are Pn. Nasliana (SPM batch 2001), Pn. Nasyahidah (SPM batch 2003), Mr. Khairul Nisab (SPM batch 2005) and Mr. Amirul Husni (SPM batch 2010). After all these years, we have become like family friends.

Right after that, I went to a new residential area in Kangkar Pulai called Fortune Hills as I was invited to an open house gathering by Dr. Azzad's family. I really had to accept his invitation as he had come to my house twice for Eid.

His younger sister, who is also an ex-student of mine, was also there. Dr. Azaty Hamzah is from SPM batch 2004, and bot she and her brother were the school's chess players.

Hoping to see more people for the coming week. There still a lot of cookies at home.

THE 23rd DAY OF EID 1436H

8th August 2015 ~ When Puan Norizah Ahmad, an old friend from SMKTUN, left a text inviting me to come over to eat more free food for Eid, I accidentally was around her house area at that time. So I had no reason to say "No". Too bad I was a bit late to mingle with my other fans and I was also a bit too full from a feast at a wedding reception before that.

I am having the fear that all my diet plan has already gone down the drain.*sigh*

ATTENDING HAZIZUL'S WEDDING

4th January ~ I went to attend Mr. Hazizul's wedding today held at Kangkar Pulai Community Hall today. He was the last of the "movie-goers gang" to tie knot but he was confident enough that the activity will still continue on.
