BREAKING FAST IN SCHOOL

3rd July 2015 ~ I was invited to an "iftar" (breaking fast) event at SMK Taman Universiti. It was a chance to see old friends and ex-students, and I was very happy indeed to attend.

The event ended after the "Tarawikh" prayers at about 9:30 p.m. - all good things must come to an end. *sobs*

BREAKING FAST AND TARAWIKH PRAYER IN SCHOOL

THURSDAY, 17th JULY 2014 ~ In conjunctions with the month of Ramadhan, the breaking fast ("iftar") and "tarawikh" prayer session were held in school today. Students and teachers from Special Religious Classes (KAA) took part in this annual activity. As usual, we had our breaking fast meal, followed by the "Maghrib" prayer. Before "isya'", there was a short tazkirah (short talk which contains advice and reminders) and finally the "tarawikh" and "witir" prayers.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who had taken part and organized this event. May we meet again in the coming Ramadhan next year.

SATURDAY, 4th AUGUST ~ An annual event for the school, the iftar [breaking fast] was held specifically for all the staff, family members and also the KAA [special religious classes] students. People started arriving as early as 6:00 p.m., and at about half an hour later, the usual activities resumed.

Alhamdulillah, praised be to Allah, for giving us the opportunity to gather and carry out this activity for this year. May we live long enough to meet again for similar event next year.
