MY HOMETOWN GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - CHICKEN CHOP FOR LUNCH AT BIGFOOD

After rescheduling the lunch date for a few times with Mr. Doctor wannabe, we managed to sit down and chat at Big Food Restaurant in town. We both chose chicken chop - mine with potato and coleslaw while Mr. Haran Mohanadas [SMKTUN SPM batch 2010] chose his with fried rice.

We took about an hour to finish the big portion of food on the plate, and tried to keep ourselves updated with all the current news of people we know but that was not that much actually. The food was alright except it came in a big quantity. My honey lemon tea was super sweet and it was still extra sweet after I requested for more water to be added into my glass.

We need to go and try other place to eat in the future. Enough of Bigfood for now.

MEET-THE-FANS-SESSION WEEKEND PACKAGE

6TH MAY 2016 ~ One in a blue moon, I get students visiting me at home which is not during Eid season. Last night, a group of SMKTUN's ex-students from SPM batch 2013 came and they were welcomed with open arms even though it was already 10:00 p.m.

They were served tea and shortly after that we adjourned to Bigfood Restaurant for a late dinner.

We were the last customers to arrive there. It was a short session as we were ushered out by the waiter as they had to close the shop by 12:00 p.m.

It was only a short meeting but we could always do this some other time, and not necessarily in a big group like this. Thanks Mr. Syazwan, Mr. Fahmi, Mr. Iqbal and Mr. Syafiq for the time and company.

DINNER FOR FIVE - FOR A REASON

24th November 2015 ~ I was asked to have dinner outside with a group of SMKTUN's ex-students from SPM batch 2005. We all met at Bigfood Restaurant at about 8:30 p.m.

One of the main agenda why the meeting was called is because someone wanted to personally hand over his wedding invitation card. So I guess I would have to consider attending after the (literally) big meals and great company. Hope to see all of you again next week.

GOING WESTERN, GOING BIG

26th August 2014 ~ The original plan was ex-students visiting the teacher's house but it was changed to a meeting at Bigfood Cafe. It was alright with me and it was good in a way that I got to know a new eating place in town. Someone just came back from India for HIS semester break while the other three had also not met me for quite some time. We ordered western food which came in large servings but surprisingly we managed to gobble everything down. 

It was just a brief date but gossiping was still the main agenda. We should do this more frequently and hopefully we could get some sari materials later from that someone. It was a combination of good food and good company - thanks a lot Haran, Amalina, Fatihah and Rabiatul(from SPM batch 2010). Until we meet again in the next gossiping session.
