JAKARTA DAY 2 - MINI INDONESIA [PART THREE]

CONTINUATION OF PART ONE AND PART TWO

It was about noon time and I could see that these people were already tired (only on day 2 of the whole trip) as a few were quite reluctant to leave the air-conditioned bus.

There were actually many other buildings and museums and parks in Mini Indonesia that we did not manage to visit. Time was quite limited as we had to leave for Bandung but I still felt we had seen and been to the important spots representing different provinces in Indonesia.

So that was the end of our 1D1N Jakarta tour and we were excited to continue with our journey to Bandung.

JAKARTA DAY 2 - MINI INDONESIA [PART TWO]

The exploration in Mini Indonesia continued...

More houses to visit, more things to see, more knowledge to discover...

For each province, there were people to give us more information of the place and they really came from the place they were put on duty - meaning that, there were not from Jakarta.

We were given books for the school library.

JAKARTA DAY 2 - MINI INDONESIA [PART ONE]

15th September 2014 ~ The entrance fee for Mini Indonesia was Rupiah 10K each and we had to add a bit more for using the van to move around the large area. It was a park where houses from the different parts of the Indonesian archipelago are put in one place so people could learn not only the architecture of the buildings, but a lot of other things like the locals' everyday lifestyle and culture.

We were allowed to get into a few of the houses to see the display and exhibits. Some of them are very similar to what we have here in Malaysia.
