THE SECOND FAREWELL GATHERING FOR A RETIRED EX-COLLEAGUE

   15TH DECEMBER 2025    ~ Another party was thrown to bid farewell to Puan Hasliza Abd. Rahman, the Head of the Language Department of SMK Dato' Jaafar who has retired and will be mowing back to Seremban real soon. This time the people involved were the other three Heads of Department who are now in different schools and another one is a retiree, and the school ex-Counselor.

Hopefully this was another memorable event for Puan Hasliza before she leaves for Seremban. May she not forget us here and may we still be connected at least on Facebook.

ANOTHER FAREWELL LUNCH FOR THE RETIREES AT INFUSION CAFE

Another gathering was held by the teachers and staff of SMK Dato' Jaafar today at Infusion Cafe, KSL. This time it was to bid farewell to two retirees, Puan Norzah Md. Daris and Puan Radziah Hassan.

This was an all ladies' affair as the party was done on a Friday afternoon. All the other men stay far away from the hotel and might not have enough time to get to the hotel for lunch. That should be a valid reason why I looked like I was in the wrong place.

It was still one fun session as for once the ladies were taking control of the karaoke system in the hall and surprisingly there was a lot of hidden talent.

Wishing Puan Norzah and Puan Radziah a stress-free life ahead and may we meet in other events in the future.

THE FAREWELL LUNCH DATE AT WARUNG MAN MAK RAM

The lunch date was set with an ex-student [of SMK Taman Universiti] this afternoon before he starts work at his new place in Pontian. Once he is there, then it will more difficult to find time to meet up.

The chosen venue was Warung Man Mak Ram in Kampung Pasir.

We couldn't stay for too long as we both had to get to work right after. Wishing Mr. Firdaos Zulkifli the very best of luck in JKM Pontian. Thanks also for giving me the opportunity to voluntarily work with the department after my retirement. Don't worry, we shall find the time to go for coffee when the time is right.

IT WAS ORIGINALLY A FAREWELL GATHERING

    5TH JANUARY 2024     ~ The gathering involving the male teachers of SMK Taman Universiti was originally meant to bid farewell to someone who would be going back to his wife's hometown and teach at a new school. Unfortunately, the person could not make it at the very last minute as he had to attend to an emergency matter. However, the party must go on so we all met at Mr. Sanusi Jusoh's house who was playing host this time.

Basically there were just enjoying all the delicious served on the dining table, chatting and be merry.

I had a few door gifts to give away to my friends.

Eventually, I was given presents for my retirement which was something I did not expect.

We had to go back home before the clock struck twelve and all our carriages turned back into pumpkins.

Thanks to Mr. Sanusi Jusoh, the gracious host, for all the delicious food cooked. And thanks to all my friends of SMK Taman Universiti for still including me in the gathering done. We had already planned for the real farewell get-together real soon.
