The story of two Filipino men who move to Taipeh, Taiwan, to earn a living. It is every Filipino's man - to get a lot of man and have a better life. It all happens on a Sunday, when they suddenly find a couch left on the road side, when all the conflicts start. How do they carry the huge couch back to their dorm?
The plot looks like a simple story line but actually quite philosophical in its own way. The couch is the symbol of luxury and comfort and a brighter future when one has a lot of money, and how people go all the way to have it.
Both of them, Manuel and Dado, do have some serious conversation while lounging on the couch - but the audience are still left wondering what finally happen to them.
