[1] The ex-husband died of cancer, leaving the insurance money to his lover, another man, Jay.
[2] The ex-wife, Liu San Lian, was furious for not receiving anything, went to provoke Jay.
[3] Song Chengxi, the couple's only child, was a rebellious juvenile, who could not stand her mother's OCD nature and her obsession with money.
[4] PLOT TWIST: Song Chengxi ran away to live with his late father's lover, who could be either his step-mother or step-father.
One very interesting movie with a lot of conflicts going on in the family which at first seemed intangible and complicated love stories between people. Guess life's like that. And great acting too.
