WHAT DID I WATCH ON NETFLIX: SEVEN SUNDAYS

Another Pinoy movie for me on Netflix: "Seven Sundays". When an aging father is diagnosed with lung cancer and has only seven Sundays to live, all his four came back to their parent's house (note the singular form) so as to spend the remaining days with the old man. Nevertheless, they are always at disagreement with each other, and this still has not changed. Just for the father's sake, they try hard to pretend to be nice with each other as this would make the dying father happy. PLOT TWIST: it is a wrong medical result - the father does not have lung cancer but a curable TB, and he is not dying. To his disappointment, the arguments among the children continue because of the complicated lives they are living, and he is left alone again one more time. Of course I am not telling you the ending of the movie, but don't we all love a happy ending?

One drama with a strong theme and message of love and family relationship.
