16th September ~ First of all, "Selamat Hari Malaysia" - the day when Sabah and Sarawak (and Singapore) joined Persekutuan Tanah Melayu to form Malaysia 50 years ago. Correct me if I got my history fact not right. A few friends did not manage to visit during Eid so they decided to come over on this day. Furthermore, they were all going to attend a wedding reception of our ex-principal's son in town right after so the time was just right.
As you can see, visiting and eating are not only done during Eid. It should always be a pleasure to open the door to visitors during any other months of the year.
