26th November ~ My very first museum visit in New Zealand was to Te Manawa: the Museum of Art, Science and History. I could say I had the museum to myself - there were very few people most probably because it was a working day. There was no entry fee to get into the building.

The museum is actually divided into a few sections and the highlight is definitely the exhibition of the indigenous people, the Maori which is also similar in other museums of other cities in New Zealand. Looking at the size of the city of Palmerston North and its population, the museum is actually an impressive display of pieces of art, science and history to the society, both for the local and foreigners.
