One of the best ways to see the lifestyle of the local people when I travel is by visiting its local wet market. You will mingle with everybody and see what they spend their money on at the market.

We went there quite early, at about 7:00 a.m. but the place was already buzzing with activities. Small scale traders were already seated by the roadside while locals and tourists alike moved along the road slowly, and at times took short pauses, to observe closely or to buy the items on sale.

The market is located at the town area - a short walking distance away from our hotel. In fact, almost all the places here are situated near to each other.
