A DINNER DATE WITH A COLLEAGUE AND AN EX-COLLEAGUE

    24TH AUGUST 2023     ~ I was invited to a dinner date by a colleague and an ex-colleague [of SMK Dato' Jaafar], which I definitely would not disagree especially when someone was giving a treat. The chosen venue this time was Star Hadramaut Restaurant, an Arabian restaurant in town centre.

It was my first time here, and the same for my other two friends. Almost all the tables were taken when we arrived and we were fortunate to secure a place in the main dining area.

There was also some sort of entertainment if the diners were celebrating someone's birthday in the restaurant - loud music, dancing waiter, big fire etc.

We had Arabian cuisines that evening which were more than enough for three people.

The dinner did not just end there as we adjourned to a Aliff Bistro, which was actually a Mamak restaurant, for supper.

Then someone suddenly came to our table and it was another ex-colleague who was there with his wife.

Thanks to the kind-hearted person who gave us a treat for dinner, and hopefully we could do this some other time, even though we might not be working at the same place anymore.
