1ST JUNE 2024 ~ The main reason I was back again in Penang one more time was to attend the wedding reception of the sons (note the plural form) of an ex-classmate of Budiman class/ex-schoolmate of SMS Muar. Mr. Ahmad Fadillah Md. Aris held the first receptions in the family for his two sons (there were two pairs of bride and grrom) and the event was held at PERDA Covention Centre in Tasik Gelugor.
The only recognizable guest there was Mr. Shamsul Akmal Shamsuddin, an ex-classmate, who was accompanied by his wife, who drove all the way from Bangi that morning.
The first thing we did upon arrival was to take photo with the parents of the brides with the fear that they would be busier later welcoming and entertaining the guests. We just did the right thing.

Even though I only got to see Mr. Shamsul Akmal but it was one happy moment for me. This should be my very first time attending a reception held for the child(ren) of an ex-classmate and hope I will be invited by other classmates after this.
Congratulations to Mr. Ahmad Fadillah on the addition of the new member in the family. Wonder if I will be back in Kepala Batas area for more wedding receptions in the future.
