During the month of Raamdhan, Moslems are encouraged to read the holy Qur'an and one of the best ways to carry out this activity is to do it groups. Today, we had the tadarus event - where we read and supposedly checked other friends' recitation of the verses. As the school has many teachers, we were divided into 15 groups and there were about 5 - 6 people in a group. Each group was assigned to read two juzuk (like chapters) of the Qur'an, and in a way the content of the whole Qur'an was equally divided and read by everybody.I am blessed that I have the opportunity to carry out spiritual activities in school apart from conducting the core responisbility of teaching, and also the encouraging support given by fellow colleagues.
