30th JANUARY 2017 ~ We first walked beside the lake and then, we started climbing up the hill to the higher part of the hotel. The weather was rather gloomy that afternoon, and the photos should turn out to be more beautiful if there was bright sunshine.

The place right in front of our hotel block seemed to be a favourite spot for fishing, but I did not see these people catching any when I was observing them.
This should be the hotel to book when you are visiting Lake Toba. You could just stay here and enjoy the serene environment. However make sure you get the room overlooking the lake but be extra cautious of the mosquitoes at night.
