The students, teachers and staff of SMK Dato' Jaafar celebrated the annual Teacher's Day today. The theme of this year's celebration was World Cup 2018. Teachers had to wear any jerseys of the teams that will be competing in the World Cup finals this June/July. This was time for the teachers to let their hair down and everybody arrived in the morning in colourful shirts of the teams chosen. Then people belonging to the same team had to take photos with the (fake) trophy on stage, which was actually quite funny to watch as colleagues struck different poses for the cameras and audience. The other programmes were just the same old activities which will not be highlighted here. :)

I always thought I would not be getting many Teacher's Day presents when teaching in an all boys school but I was wrong.
I guess everyone had fun before we got back to our busy routine next week, heading towards the end of the first school term of the year.
fans are everywhere *sigh* |
