The district level chess competition was carried out earlier this year. SMK Mohd. Khalid was chosen to be the host this time and the school has a huge and air-conditioned hall which should be a very suitable venue.
I was there to help out a bit here and there, and at the same time chaperoning the two teams of SMK Dato' Jaafar.

One reason I choose to stay with the team is because this is the time to meet old friends (and students/ex-students).

We managed to finish 5 rounds of matches today and there would be 3 more tomorrow. There is still a long way to go for the school's teams, and just hope they could do better for the upcoming rounds.
